If you have trouble registering then email support @ iforpowell.com and I can force things though.

The system is not that good but I prefer to spend my time working on IpBike than trying to set up an alternative. It is at least good at keeping the spam away.

It is advisable to 'copy' before you try and post as the captcha stuff is a bit to agresive and the back buttone is not working for everyone.  You can at least then paste and have another go.

First question:
In IpBike my mountainbikes have 'default activity' mountain biking.
When I upload to Strava, Strave shows on there website a shoe. So Strava register I was running.

Second question:
When I give an activity a different name Strava register it something like IpBike_**

Thanks for the feedback.

If you use 'mtb' for the activity then it should get poicked up. I have made changes so the next release should be fixed with 'mountain bikeing'

If you change the name before uploading then it should be used in Strava. It may be best to change it then go back to the list to see that it looks to be changed then upload it. If it's not looking to work get back to me and I will investigate more.

Thanks for your reaction.

I give my bikes the 'title name' mtb and strava recognized that, nice.

Strava didn't recogonized the bike. I have 3 bikes with differents names.

I change the workout title, change back to the list and upload and Strava recognized it, also nice!

There is strange thin, Strava said the workout came from a iPhone. I do have an iPhone and sometimes I used it with Strava.
But this workout came from my Android device. That's for all the Android workouts.

The strava API is rather limited. If I could I would be setting the bike, uploading the description you type in and stoping it doing an online lookup for altitude if you have a pressure sensor and definatly advertising IpBike as the source of the data but I can not do any of it with there current API. They say they are working on a new one but I have heard nothing in 5 months so I am begining to think they have given up on the idea.
