Added a blog section to the site.  I need to sort out the templates a bit as things are not looking so good.

Feature request: Could you have IP Bike launch automatically, auto start sensors, and auto start trip when the USB ANT+ stick is connected? This would be great: plug in, and ride!

Interesting request.

I suspect the problem here will be that I don't actually talk to the USB stick directly myself but via the ANT driver stack which has ANT USB Radio service doing the interfacing it it is that that you give permission to access USB to. It could set itself up to auto start on plugging in the stick but it will not know what app you want to start at the moment to take control.

I will post a feature request to the ANT developer forum and see if I they think they can add in a suitable feature.

I think you can already do this using the "Llama" app. It's a v flexible tool, I use it for switching on/off things like wifi and bluetooth when certain events occur, and turning off my phone ringer when I get to work. One of its "trigger" conditions is to look for a specific App Notification Bar Icon.
So, you'll do Event -> Add Condition -> App Notification Bar, and then do Add Action -> Run Application -> IpBike
